EASTON, Mass. (Nov. 30, 2025) – Three members of the Stonehill football team have been named to the
Phil Steele All-NEC Team, the publication announced this week.
Junior linebacker
Charles Battaglia and freshman long snapper
Tyler Young were tabbed to the second team, while graduate student
Zachary Kim was selected to the third team.
Battaglia, a native of Massapequa, N.Y., started all 12 games for the Skyhawks, leading the team with 81 tackles. He also recorded 6.0 tackles for a loss and 2.0 sacks. Battaglia was chosen as the NEC/Atlantic Tomorrow's Office Defensive Player of the Week Sept. 29 after making nine tackles and 2.0 sacks in the win over LIU and was an NEC Prime Performer three times.
Young, who hails from Simi Valley, Calif., played in all 12 games and recorded five tackles during his rookie campaign.
A grad student from Monterey Park, Calif., Kim paced Stonehill with 33 catches for 431 yards and five touchdowns. Kim had two of those touchdown receptions against Lafayette, finishing that game with a season-best six catches and 78 yards.
