EASTON, Mass. (Nov. 3, 2025) – The Stonehill women's basketball team hit seven three-pointers and shot 47.8 percent of the field overall, as the Skyhawks topped Bridgewater State by a score of 83-38 in an exhibition game at Merkert Gymnasium Monday evening.
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS:
- Brooke Paquette scored 18 points in 25 minutes, and she was 6-of-6 from the foul line while making six steals.
- Phoena Dadson added 17 points, shooting 7-of-8 from the floor, including 3-of-3 from beyond the arc.
- Reese Roggenburk collected nine rebounds in the freshman's first game suiting up for Stonehill.
- The Skyhawks outscored the Bears, 38-14, in the paint and 45-13 in points from the bench.
- Eleven different players scored baskets for Stonehill.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
In the opening quarter, Stonehill held a 10-point lead, 22-12, as six different players got in the scoring act for the Skyhawks. As the first-half continued, Stonehill's defense kept the Bears at bay, holding Bridgewater State to 1-of-12 shooting and only four points the second stanza. The Skyhawks carried a 44-16 advantage into the break.
Brooke Paquette led all scorers with 10 points and three steals in the first 20 minutes of action.
As the exhibition continued, Stonehill's bench took over, as the Skyhawks outscored the Bears, 26-8, in the fourth quarter alone.
Phoena Dadson tallied 12 of her 17 points in the final frame, and was a perfect 5-of-5, including 2-of-2 from deep, in the frame.
