SMITHFIELD, R.I. (Dec. 2, 2025) – The Stonehill men's basketball team was clipped by Bryant, 77-65, in non-conference play on Tuesday evening to open the month of December.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Stonehill started strong and built early momentum. Graduate student
Raymond Espinal-Guzman knocked down a three-point jumper from the top of the key to put the Skyhawks up 9-0 to open the game.
Midway through the first half and the Bulldogs mounting a comeback, senior guard
Chas Stinson extended the Skyhawk lead back to two possessions with a driving lay-up in the paint. However, momentum shifted over to the opposing bench with Bryant going on a 14-2 to pull ahead as they led by two, 34-32, at the break.
Bryant carried the energy they end the first half on into the second half, building a nine-point lead within the first few minutes. The Skyhawks continued to battle as junior guard
Davante Hackett exploded offensively in the second half, scoring 11 of his 16 points. Senior guard
Rex Sunderland also came on strong in the second adding six points of his own.
