STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (February 20, 2025) – The Stonehill College men's basketball fell on the road at the Spiro Sports Center in a Northeast Conference contest against Wagner College, 63-57, Thursday night.

FIRST HALF
  • Stonehill made four of its first five three-point attempts to take a 14-8 lead six minutes into the game.
  • Meuser hit his second three of the game to keep Stonehill ahead by five, 19-14, but the Seahawks finished the half on a 16-10 run, giving Wagner a 30-29 lead at the break.
  • Blake went 4-4 with 10 points for the Seahawks off the bench, while Meuser led Stonehill with eight points at the break.
SECOND HALF
  • Wagner pushed its lead to six in the opening minutes of the second half, 37-31, and continued to keep the Skyhawks from going on any sort of run to trim the deficit.
  • The Seahawks would go up by as much as eight points, 51-43, but after a three-pointer from senior Nathan McGill (Dillsburg, Pa.) made it a one-possession game, 55-52, freshman Hermann Koffi (Quebec City, Quebec) tied the score at 55-55 with a three-pointer of his own with 1:40 remaining in the game.
  • Back-to-back scores for the Seahawks made it a four-point game, 59-55, with 24 seconds left. Wagner made four straight free throws to close out the game, defeating Stonehill 63-57.
