Freshman Sydney McLaughlin (Hanover, N.H.) opened the second quarter with a three-pointer from the wing to make it a three-point game, 21-18, followed by a three from Hayward and three baskets from Sias in a low-scoring quarter that saw FDU go into the break ahead 31-27. Stonehill held FDU to a 4-15 (26.7%) shooting performance in the second frame to stay within four points of the Knights.

FDU made its first three shot attempts of the third quarter, sparking a 9-0 run for the Knights as they built a 13-point lead, 40-27. FDU led by at least 11 points for the rest of the quarter as its lead grew to as much as 18 points, 54-36, before a Swider layup ended the quarter with the Knights leading 54-38.

Stonehill shot the ball well in the fourth quarter, 8-14 (57.1%), but the FDU was too much as the Knights secured their league-leading 14th NEC win of the season, 74-57. Sias scored 11 points, going 5-5 from the field and 1-1 from three-point range in the fourth quarter alone.
