HOW IT HAPPENED
Stonehill opened the scoring in the top of the second inning when sophomore Cam Morrisonwho reached base on an error, was driven home a batter later by Rader, who hit an RBI single to right field. Just half an inning later, Wagner regained its one-run lead when Phelps delivered an RBI single through the left side of the infield, plating Mazzotta, who had started the inning with an infield single to shortstop.

Wagner extended its advantage in the bottom of the sixth, adding three more runs. Graduate student Xavier Ullrich contributed with an RBI double, while Mazzotta added a two-run single.
