MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (March 9, 2025) – The Stonehill College men's tennis team was swept by the College of Charleston, 7-0, Sunday afternoon at the Turner Tennis Center at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. With the loss, the Skyhawks dropped to an even 5-5 on the year, while the Cougars improved to 7-4 overall.

- Gaedechens and junior Juan Diego Rojas Mora defeated freshmen Nicolas Arredondo and Guillermo Bennaton, 6-4, at No. 2 doubles to force a deciding No. 3 doubles match.
- Sweeney and freshman Jake Smith clinched the doubles point for the Cougars with a 6-1 victory at No. 3 doubles.
- Charleston followed up its double competition point victory by sweeping Stonehill throughout singles play.
- Sweeney and Gaedechens capped off their doubles win on the day by defeating Arredondo and Wilhelm Krefting, respectively.
- Sweeney swept Arredondo, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 2 singles, while Gaedechens took down Wilhelm Krefting, 6-1, 6-1, on the No. 3 singles court.
