PROVIDENCE, R.I. (April 11, 2025) – The Stonehill College track and field sent its distance runners to the Friar Invitational at the Ray Treacy Track at Hendricken Field on Friday.
 
WOMEN'S EVENTS

• Junior Jordan Malloy (Colchester, Conn.) was the top Skyhawk finisher in the mile run, placing 16th out of 56 runners, clocking in at 5:02.57.
• Freshman Mallory Hildreth (Pittsford, N.Y.) crossed the finish line in 5:12.68 in the mile, setting a new personal record in the event, while placing 29th.
• Junior Emily Young (Newton, Mass.) also set a PR in the mile run, finishing in 5:13.15 as she placed 32nd in the event.

MEN'S EVENTS

• Sophomore Matthew Malora (Harrington Park, N.J.) placed eighth out of 29 runners in the 800-meter run with the second-best time of his career, finishing the race in 1:56.64.
• Sophomore Dylan Brillian (Plymouth, Mass.) led the Skyhawks in the 5,000-meter run, placing 37th as he finished at 15:02.85.
• Graduate student Patrick Garratt (Westwood, Mass.) came in 42nd place in the 5000m race, finishing in 15:10.52, 32 seconds faster than his previous 5K last weekend.
• Sophomore Nicholas Davies (Auckland, New Zealand) set a personal record in the 5000m run, clocking in at 15:23.17, a near 40-second improvement on his previous PR.

• Stonehill Track and Field travels to Providence, R.I. on Friday, April 11 for the Friar Invitational hosted by Providence College at the Ray Treacy Track at Hendricken Field.
