EASTON, Mass. (April 2, 2025) – The Stonehill College men's tennis team earned a 6-1 win over non-conference opponent Merrimack College Wednesday afternoon at the Charles Watt Tennis Courts. With the win, the Skyhawks improved to 7-10 overall, while the Warriors dropped to 4-8 on the year.

How It Happened
- Wilhelm Krefting and Kröll combined to defeat junior Morgan Donovan and Gradski, 6-4, at No. 1 doubles. The victory marked their team-leading 13th of the season as a double combination.
- Riveros and Brimm took down Arredondo and freshman Guillermo Bennaton, 6-2, on the No. 2 doubles court to force a deciding third doubles match.
- Borch-Nielsen and Duhil de Bénazé clinched the doubles point for the Skyhawks with a 6-4 win over senior Charles Robertson and junior Kabir Chhabria.
- Gradski secured the lone point for Merrimack with a three-set, 6-1, 2-6, 10-5, victory over Bennaton at No. 1 singles.
- Borch-Nielsen and Wilhelm Krefting defeated Robertson and Chhabria at No. 2 and No. 3 singles in straight sets, respectively.
- Arredondo secured the Skyhawks' overall match victory with a three-set battle against Riveros that ended 6-3, 7-6, 11-9.
- Kröll capped off the match win at No. 5 singles against Donovan, 0-6, 7-6, 6-1, before sophomore Alexis Chastang won by default at No. 6 singles to conclude the match.
