AMHERST, Mass. (April 27, 2025) – The Stonehill College track and field team finished out day two of the Ken O'Brien Pre-Conference Meet at the UMass Track and Field Complex on Saturday, in the final competition before next weekend's NEC Outdoor Championships.
WOMEN'S EVENTS
- Freshman Hannah Santos (Swansea, Mass.) won the high jump for the second week in a row, reaching the same distance of 1.63m (5' 4.25"), the second-best mark in the NEC.
- Freshman Mollie Osgood (Wilmington, Mass.) came in fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.53m (5' 0.25").
- Freshman Kendall Barton (Concord, N.H.) and sophomore Morgan Correia (North Dighton, Mass.) tied for sixth in the pole vault as they both reached 3.31m (10' 10.25").
- Freshman Makenna Dube (North Andover, Mass.) placed 10th in the shot put with a personal record of 11.10m (36' 5"). She also PR'd in the hammer throw with a toss of 35.66m (117' 0").
- Freshman Samantha Gaudet (Falmouth, Maine) set a new PR in the discus throw on her way to an eighth-place finish, reaching 38.11m (125' 0") with her toss, tied for the fifth-best throw in the NEC.
MEN'S EVENTS
- In the high jump on the men's side, sophomore Keagan Fletcher (Wrentham, Mass.) led the Skyhawks with a fourth-place finish as he leapt 1.85m (6' 0.75"), his second-best jump of the spring.
- Senior Parker Hagen (Newport, R.I.) reached 13.99m (45' 10.75") in the triple jump, good for a fourth-place finish and the seventh-best mark in the conference.
- Sophomore Joseph Chesney (Cumberland, R.I.) led Stonehill with an eighth-place finish in the shot put with a toss of 13.85m (45' 5.25").
- Chesney also placed eighth in the discus after reaching 46.38m (152' 2"), his second-best toss of the spring.

- Stonehill Track and Field will host next weekend's two-day, Northeast Conference Outdoor Championships at W.B. Mason Stadium beginning on Saturday, May 3.
