BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (September 21, 2025) – The Stonehill College men's tennis team concluded action at the NateRentals.com Binghamton Tennis Championships at the Lane-Stark Tennis Center in Binghamton, New York Sunday afternoon.
Over the weekend, the Skyhawks tallied 14 wins across singles and doubles play and reached four total finals. Leading the way in doubles was junior
Jacob Borch-Nielsen and sophomore
Hector Cebrian in Flight A. The duo went 3-1 over the weekend, advancing to the championship match with a chance to qualify for the ITA Masters in November. In a tightly contested final, Borch-Nielsen and Cebrian fell just short in a match tiebreak, 4-6, 6-4, 12-10, to Binghamton's Wiliam Morais Binnie and Ronin Lotlikar.
Stonehill also had strong performances in singles, led by freshman
Benjamin Beaudry, sophomore
Nicolas Arredondo, and junior
Alessandro Munoz, each recording two victories over the weekend. In doubles, Beaudry teamed with sophomore
Javier Gutierrez to reach the Flight C final, where they were defeated by FDU's Arya Prabhu and Matias Neira, 6-0.
