LAKEVILLE, Mass. (January 23, 2026) – The Stonehill College women's tennis team was swept, 7–0, by the University of Portland Friday afternoon at the Lakeville Athletic Club. With the loss, the Skyhawks fell to 0–3 overall, while the Pilots opened their dual match season at 1–0.
Despite dropping all three doubles matches, Stonehill showed fight early on. The pairings of junior

Anneliese Beltran at No. 1 doubles, along with junior
Madison Warren and first-year
Iliana deArmas at No. 2, battled closely in competitive contests.
Holte and Beltran were edged out by Alaia Rubio Perez and Maria Galatescu, 6–3, on the top court, while Dariya Radulova and Lexie Flores secured a 6–3 decision over Warren and deArmas at No. 2 doubles.
In singles play, Holte competed at No. 2 singles against Radulova, dropping a tightly contested first set, 6–4, before retiring in the second. Following that matchup, Portland went on to claim the remaining singles points, though the Skyhawks collected 14 total game victories across singles play.
