Hackett Nets 22 Points on Le Moyne to Extend Men's Basketball's Win Streak to Three

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (Jan. 31, 2026) – Junior guard Davante Hackett came one point of tying his career single-game high dropping 22 points on the Dolphins to lead the Stonehill men's basketball team to a the 65-54 victory on Sataurday afternoon.
 
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS
  • Junior guard Davante Hackett registered his second double of the season, tallying 22 points and 15 rebounds.  
  • Sophomore guard Hermann Koffi followed up with 15 points.
  • Senior forward Ethan Meuser came off the Skyhawk bench record his first double-double of the season, tallying 13 points and 11 rebounds, while also recording three blocks.
  • The Skyhawks led for over 34 minutes of the game.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Skyhawks carried the momentum of their last wo victories in to the early half taking an early 11-4 run on the backs of junior guard Davante Hackett and sophomore guard Hermann Koffi.


 
Stonehill led by as many as eight midway through the first half when Le Moyne mounted a run of their own to tie up the game, but the Skyhawks had an answer. Senior forward Ethan Meuser used his size for a layup in the paint and converted the three-point play to take a three-point lead.


 
Le Moyne tied up the game at the start of the second, but it was short-lived. The Skyhawks were red hot, Hackett capped off a 9-0 run with a layup midway through the half that extended the lead to 11, their largest of the game, and they never looked back.
