TEANECK, N.J. (FEB 5, 2026) – The Stonehill men's basketball team's three-game win-streak was halted by FDU, 74-58, on Thursday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
FDU was quick from the start, opening up with a 6-0 run that set the pace for the game. Senior guard
Chas Stinson cut the deficit to two possessions with a driving layup just before the first media timeout, but the Knights had the momentum.
Trailing by double figure midway through the first half, 17-7, senior forward
Ethan Meuser drained a wide open three to cut the deficit to five. Moments later, Stinson capped off a 6-0 run knocking down one-of-two from the free-throw line to bring the Skyhawks to within four.
It was the closest Stonehill would get for the remainder of the half as the Knights went into the locker room with a 31-24 lead.
There was no let up by the FDU offense when the teams returned to the floor at the start of the second half as they built their lead back up to double figures. But the Skyhawks did not give in.
Midway through the second half, graduate student
Anthony Holden picked the ball from Cyril Martynov and took it back down the court for the fast break lay-up. But the Knights remained in full control the game to earn their fifth win of the season.
