How it Happened
Stonehill wasted little time jumping out to an early lead, taking a 3-0 advantage less than 20 minutes into the contest. Cassidy opened the scoring with her fifth goal of the season at the 8:26 mark, finishing off an assist from Renz. Just over two minutes later, Renz found the back of the net herself, scoring her third of the campaign at 10:26 to give the Skyhawks a 2-0 lead.

Renz then registered her fourth point of the afternoon at the 17:40 mark, setting up Roslonek for her second goal of the season to put Stonehill ahead 3-0.

The Skyhawks continued their offensive surge coming out of halftime, scoring three goals in an eight-minute span to double their advantage. Farr and Newell combined to set up Zub for her first goal of the season at 47:48. Just over three minutes later, MacLellan forced a Chicago State turnover and went in alone, burying her second goal of the campaign at 50:54 to make it 5-0.

In the 54th minute, Zub turned provider, finding Lord, who fired a right-footed shot into the lower-right corner of the Cougars' cage to push the Stonehill advantage to 6-0.

With just under 10 minutes remaining, FitzGerald sent a pass ahead to Cawley, who fired a shot into the bottom-left corner for her first collegiate goal, capping the Skyhawks' scoring at seven.

Chicago State converted on a penalty kick at the 83:25 mark, but Stonehill cruised to a dominant 7-1 victory, extending its winning streak to four games.
