How It Happened
Franklin Pierce came out of the gates strong, peppering Caron and the Stonehill defense with 24 shots on goal over the opening 20 minutes. The sophomore netminder stood tall, turning aside all 24 attempts to send the game into the first intermission scoreless.

Stonehill rewarded its netminder's stellar opening frame by bouncing back in the second period, outshooting the Ravens 15–5. In the waning moments of the stanza, the Skyhawks broke through when Feeney and Barrett connected with Kenmore, who buried her third goal of the season at the 18:25 mark to give Stonehill a 1–0 lead heading into the second intermission.

Franklin Pierce quickly evened the score in the third period as Jenna Sharland slipped a shot past Caron at the 6:35 mark for her second goal of the season. After a back-and-forth remainder of regulation, the two sides headed to overtime for a 3-on-3 extra frame.

Early in overtime, Franklin Pierce controlled possession and generated four shots in quick succession, with Caron holding firm in net. However, at the 1:47 mark, Caleigh Murphy netted the game-winning goal to seal a 2–1 overtime victory for the Ravens.
