EASTON, Mass. (April 11, 2026) – The Stonehill College men's tennis team closed out its NEC slate with a 5-2 victory over Saint Francis University on Saturday afternoon at the Charles Watt Tennis Courts. With the win, the Skyhawks improved to 7-9 overall and 2-3 in conference play, while the Red Flash fell to 4-15 overall and 1-5 in league action.

Stonehill secured the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. After
Jacob Borch-Nielsen and
Nicolas Arredondo dropped a 6-3 decision at No. 1 doubles, the Skyhawks responded with victories at No. 2 and No. 3.
Guillermo Bennaton and
Javier Gutierrez earned a 6-2 win over Blake Lorenzo and Beau Welker, marking their fifth victory as a pairing, while
Hector Cebrian and
Alessandro Munoz cruised to a 6-0 win against Noah Potts and Deven Pandey.
In singles play, the teams split the first four matches before Stonehill captured the final two to secure the overall victory. Cebrian and
Benjamin Beaudry earned wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Cebrian defeated Lorenzo, 6-4, 6-1, while Beaudry notched his 13th win of the season with a 6-3, 6-0 decision over Jonah NG.
Munoz clinched the match for the Skyhawks at No. 5 singles, defeating Potts, 7-5, 6-2, before Arredondo capped the day with a 6-0, 7-5 win over Pandey at No. 6.
The victory marked Stonehill's fourth straight, its longest winning streak since the 2022-23 season when the Skyhawks opened the year with six consecutive wins.
