EASTON, Mass. (April 11, 2026) – The Stonehill College women's tennis team concluded its regular season with a 6-1 loss to NEC opponent Saint Francis University on Saturday afternoon at the Charles Watt Tennis Courts. With the defeat, the Skyhawks fell to 4-10 overall and 3-3 in conference play, while the Red Flash improved to 12-8 overall and 6-1 in league action.
Stonehill earned its lone point of the match by capturing the doubles point, winning two of three contests.
Anneliese Beltran and
Iliana deArmas opened action with a 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles over Reageben Mangan and Emma Marais, marking their sixth win as a pairing.
After
Arya Chabria and
Lilah Shallcross dropped a 6-3 decision at No. 2 doubles to Kelly Dowuona and Gabriela Almanza,
Julie Holte and
Madison Warren clinched the doubles point for Stonehill with a 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles over Dasha Chichkina and Helena Lynn.
Despite securing the doubles point, the Skyhawks were unable to carry momentum into singles play, where Saint Francis swept all six matches to secure the 6-1 final.
