How It Happened
Stonehill opened the scoring in the second inning when Romero drove in Kearney on a fielder's choice. Coppin State answered in the third with an RBI single to even the score, but Stonehill quickly responded with a two-run single from Rickert to regain the lead.

After a scoreless top of the fourth, the Skyhawks broke the game open with a six-run inning, highlighted by RBI hits from Romero, Parks, and Kearney to build a commanding advantage.

Coppin State pushed across a run in the fifth, but Stonehill erupted again—this time for seven runs in the bottom half. Morrison led off with a solo home run, and later in the inning, Romero delivered the biggest swing of the day with a grand slam to extend the lead to 16-2.

The Skyhawks added two more runs in the sixth behind run-scoring hits from Kearney and Howland. Despite a late push from Coppin State in the seventh, senior Jake Lanzer closed the door to secure the 18-5 run-rule victory.
