How It Happened

Stonehill responded in the bottom half of the fifth, as Romero launched a solo home run—his second of the series—to regain the lead. Later in the inning, Rickert added an RBI single to extend the advantage to 4-2.

Coppin State surged ahead in the sixth, plating three runs on a solo homer and a two-run double to take its first lead of the game. The Eagles added another run in the seventh, but the Skyhawks answered in the bottom half when Parks scored on an RBI single from Howland to cut the deficit to one.
