EASTON, Mass. (Aug. 4, 2026) – The Stonehill men's basketball team has announced its upcoming 2026-2027 schedule on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Amongst their non-conference opponents is Texas Tech, who was ranked 21^st in the country last season, as well as a contest against Stonehill's sister school Notre Dame on November 28. Additionally, the Skyhawks travel to UMass, Boston College and Providence College, while hosting Northeastern, Holy Cross and New Hampshire at Merkert Gymnasium.
 
Under Head Coach Chris Kraus, who is entering his 13^th season at the helm, the Skyhawks open the 2026-2027 campaign hosting Curry College on November 2 at Paula Sullivan Court. Stonehill hits the road for a three-game stretch against Fordham (Nov. 5), Columbia (Nov. 9) and Texas Tech (Nov. 14).
 
The Skyhawks return to the friendly confines of Merkert Gymnasium hosting New Hampshire (Nov. 18), Northeastern (Nov. 21) and Vermont State Randolph (Nov. 24). They will close out November traveling to South Bend, Indiana to tip off against the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame on November 28.
 
They will begin the month of December with a local trip down 95 to Providence (Dec. 1), before hosting Holy Cross on December 5.
 
Following a quick trip to UMass Lowell on December 12, the Skyhawks will host Regis College on December 15. They will close out the last month of the calendar year with road trips to UMass (Dec. 19), Boston College (Dec. 22) and Dartmouth (Dec. 29).
 
Stonehill will tip-off conference play at home hosting Wagner (Jan. 2) and FDU (Jan. 4) then head out on the road for three games against Mercyhurst (Jan. 8), Le Moyne (Jan. 10) and LIU (Jan. 16), before returning home for a mid-week game against Central Connecticut (Jan. 20).
 
Following a quick weekend trip to Chicago State (Jan. 23), the Skyhawks host New Haven for another midweek match-up against New Haven (Jan. 27). They will close out the month of January at FDU (Jan. 30) to open a three-game road stretch.
 
The Skyhawks close out the regular season with four the last five games at home, including a three-game homestand against Mercyhurst (Feb. 11), Le Moyne (Feb. 13) and LIU (Feb. 18). They will head out on the road for a Thursday night tip-off against New Haven (Feb. 25), before their regular-season finale against Chicago State on February 27.
 
The NEC Tournament commences with quarterfinal round play on March 3, semifinals on March 6 and the NEC Championship on March 9 all being played at the home of the higher seeded teams.
 
All Stonehill home games will be broadcast live on NEC Front Row - the NEC's digital broadcast platform. Tickets for the 2026-27 season, including season ticket packages, will be available at a later date.
