Michael Hauser isin his first season as assistant coach with the Stonehill men'sbasketball program.

Hauser comes to Kraus' staff afterthree seasons as assistant coach at Clarkson University. The GoldenKnights posted a 49-27 record, posting three consecutive winningseasons in the NCAA Division III Liberty League for the first timein the program's five decades of league play. The program producedfive All-Liberty League performers, including two first teamAll-Conference picks and led Division III in assist/turnover ratioin 2011-12.
Hauser partnered with head coachMark Gilbride to develop the daily practice plan and wasresponsible for the academic development of the Clarkson men'sbasketball student-athletes. He developed effective study programsand facilitated individual meetings to team time management andstudy skills. Hauser led the scouting efforts for the GoldenKnights opponents and also oversaw the recruiting process.
Hauser has also worked as aclinician at basketball camps at Yale University, Brown University,Williams College, University of Notre Dame, Bowdoin College,Fordham University as well as with Hoop Group Elite and Hoop GroupAcademic Elite.
Hauser is a 2010 graduate ofBowdoin, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics.He was a four year letterwinner on the Polar Bears men's basketballteam, serving as captain his senior year under long time head coachTim Gilbride (Mark Gilbride's father). Bowdoin posted a 68-37record over Hauser's four years and were finalists in the NESCACTournament in 2007-08, earning an NCAA Division III Tournament bid.The men's basketball program earned the NESCAC Sportsmanship Awardhis senior year.
Hauser earned his Master's ofBusiness Administration from Clarkson this past May with aconcentration in supply chain management.
