EASTON, Mass. (August 14, 2024) – The Stonehill College women's basketball program's third NCAA Division I season slate has been revealed in its entirety following the Northeast Conference releasing its 2024-25 schedule today, adding to the Skyhawks 13-game non-conference schedule that is highlighted by three NCAA Tournament programs from March.

th year, will play five of their 13 non-conference games on Paula Sullivan Court at Merkert Gymnasium this winter as the Skyhawks prepare for their third season at the Division I level as members of the NEC. Stonehill will host America East Conference finalists University of Maine (Nov. 26, 7 p.m.), the reigning AE Champions and a 2024 NCAA Tournament participant, and UAlbany (Dec. 1, 1 p.m.) in back-to-back home dates, along with a third America East member University of New Hampshire (Dec. 30, 4 p.m.) visiting Merkert Gymnasium to wrap up the non-conference schedule before the NEC slate opens after the New Year. Stonehill will also host Ivy League member Dartmouth College (Dec. 10, 7 p.m.) with the Skyhawks home opener scheduled for Thursday, November 7, against Emmanuel College at 7 p.m.
Stonehill's 2024-25 season opens at Atlantic 10 Conference runners-up University of Rhode Island on Monday, November 4 (5:30 p.m.), and the Skyhawks non-conference slate is headlined by visits to Mountain West Conference Champions UNLV (Nov. 15) and fellow NCAA Tournament participant Marquette University (Dec. 21) from the Big East. More locally, Stonehill will visit Bryant University (Nov. 22), Brown University (Dec. 5) and Northeastern University (Dec. 18), with road visits to Utah Tech (Nov. 13) and Rider University (Dec. 14) also included.
Stonehill will open its third NEC season with three-straight home games, which added to the non-conference finale against New Hampshire on December 30 gives the Skyhawks a season-long four-game homestand wrapped around the New Year, starting with NEC newcomers Mercyhurst University on Thursday, January 2. Saint Francis University (Jan. 4) and the NEC's second newcomer Chicago State University (Jan. 9) round out the three-game Merkert Gym run to open the NEC slate.
FDU closes out Stonehill's home schedule in January, before the Skyhawks host LIU (Feb. 8), Wagner College (Feb. 20) and Central Connecticut State University (Feb. 22) in February and then Le Moyne College for Senior Day on Saturday, March 1, for its regular season home finale. Stonehill's NEC regular season concludes at Wagner on Thursday, March 6, before the NEC Tournament commences with quarterfinal round play on March 10, semifinals on March 13 and the NEC Championship on March 16 all being played at the home of the higher seeded teams.
All Stonehill home games will be broadcast live on NEC Front Row - the NEC's digital broadcast platform. Tickets for the 2024-25 season, including season ticket packages, will be available for purchase online in early September.
Stonehill earned a spot in the NEC Tournament in its first year of eligibility last winter, extending the program's streak of postseason appearances in each year it has been eligible to do so dating back through its entire 40 years in the Northeast-10 Conference as well. Recent graduate
Jada Thornton earned All-NEC honors, marking the second-straight year the Skyhawks have featured an All-Conference selection at the Division I level.
