Anselmo Named NEC Offensive Player of the Year for Second Straight Season

EASTON, Mass. (November 5, 2025) – Senior forward Hannah Anselmo of the Stonehill College women's soccer team has been named the NEC Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon.

Anselmo becomes the first player in program history to earn a conference Offensive Player of the Year honor in back-to-back seasons. The Fall River, Massachusetts native also secured a spot on the All-NEC First Team for the second straight year.

A two-time NEC Player of the Week and three-time NEC Prime Performer this fall, Anselmo capped her stellar senior campaign with a conference-leading 14 goals and 29 points—marks that rank ninth all-time in single-season points and tied for fourth in goals in program history. Her 14-goal tally also placed her among the top 10 nationally in scoring.

Anselmo caught fire midway through the season, scoring 11 of her 14 goals over the final 10 games. During that stretch, she recorded multi-goal performances in four contests, including a hat trick against Saint Francis (Sept. 21), two goals versus Wagner (Oct. 5), and back-to-back braces against Delaware State (Oct. 16) and Mercyhurst (Oct. 19).
