EASTON, Mass. (December 1, 2025) – The New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) has selected senior forward
Hannah Anselmo to compete in its Senior Bowl All-Star Game, the organization announced last week.
The game is scheduled for Sunday, December 7, with kickoff set for 11 a.m. at East Boston Memorial Stadium, and will be presented by the Boston Dream Soccer Association.
Anselmo was one of just 26 Division I players chosen and is one of two representatives from the NEC, joining Central Connecticut's Kiley Yepes. Her selection marks the first time a Skyhawk has been chosen to compete in the NEWISA Senior Bowl since Stonehill's transition to the NCAA Division I level.
This honor adds to an already historic season for Anselmo, who became the first player in program history to earn a conference Offensive Player of the Year award in back-to-back seasons and secured a spot on the All-NEC First Team.
A two-time NEC Player of the Week and three-time NEC Prime Performer this fall, Anselmo capped her standout senior campaign with a conference-leading 14 goals and 29 points—totals that rank ninth all-time in single-season points and tied for fourth in goals in program history. Her 14 goals also placed her among the top 10 nationally in scoring at the conclusion of the regular season.
Anselmo surged down the stretch, scoring 11 of her 14 goals over the final 10 games. During that span, she delivered four multi-goal performances, including a hat trick versus Saint Francis (Sept. 21), two goals against Wagner (Oct. 5), and back-to-back braces versus Delaware State (Oct. 16) and Mercyhurst (Oct. 19).
