EASTON, Mass. (November 5, 2025) – Junior
Kayla Cassidy and first-year
Dani Lomuscio of the Stonehill College women's soccer team have each earned All-NEC honors, as announced by the league Wednesday afternoon.
Cassidy was named to the All-NEC Second Team for the first time in her collegiate career, while Lomuscio earned spots on both the All-NEC Second Team and the All-NEC Rookie Team, becoming the second Skyhawk in program history to be named to an NEC All-Rookie Team during the program's NCAA Division I era, joining sophomore
Erin Foley who earned the recognition a season ago.
Cassidy capped the 2025 campaign with a career-best 14 points on six goals and two assists, ranking third in Stonehill's Division I era for single-season points. She trails only teammate
Hannah Anselmo, who tallied 29 points this fall and 22 a year ago. Cassidy's standout season featured a pair of two-goal performances, helping lead the Skyhawks to victories over New Haven (Sept. 18) and Chicago State (Nov. 2).
Lomuscio, a two-time NEC Rookie of the Week, finished the season third on the team in tallying eight points on one goal and six assists, while leading all Skyhawks with 1,599 minutes played. The first-year midfielder notched three multi-point outings, including her first career goal against Wagner on Oct. 5, and a pair of two assist efforts versus Delaware State (Oct. 16) and CCSU (Oct. 26).
Stonehill closed out the 2025 season with an overall record of 6-8-4, including a 6-3-2 mark in NEC play.
