EASTON, Mass. (Dec. 22, 2025) -- Freshman guard
Ella Pelletier of the Stonehill women's basketball team has been honored as the NEC Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Pelletier, who hails from South Paris, Maine, averaged 14.0 points and 9.0 rebounds at the Hatter Classic Dec. 19-20. In Stonehill's 74-68 win over Bethune-Cookman, Pelletier netted a career-high 17 points, grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out four assists. She was also 9-of-9 from the free-throw line against the Wildcats. In the contest at Stetson, Pelletier recorded her first-career double-double, scoring 11 points and grabbing a career-best 10 rebounds.
Pelletier was also selected as an NEC Prime Performer, joining junior guard
Brooke Paquette and sophomore forward
Julia Webster with the weekly nods. Paquette was also chosen as the NEC Player of the Week, as the Skyhawks swept the major conference awards this week.
Stonehill will travel to Nashville, Tenn., to take on No. 13/11 Vanderbilt Sunday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. CST.
