STOUGHTON, Mass. (March 23, 2025) – The Stonehill College Equestrian team finished fourth overall in the team standings at the Boston College/Wellesley Horse Show Saturday afternoon. In addition to the overall team result, senior
Madeline Ahern qualified for regional competition over fences.
Highlights
- Ahern took home a pair of top three finishes in both the open flat and fences events, finishing as the runner-up over fences and third on the podium in flats.
- First-year student Shay Callanan took home the lone blue ribbon for the Skyhawks, earning a first-place finish in limit flats.
- First-year student Elizabeth Carreiro finished second overall in the intermediate flats while taking home a sixth-place finish over fences.
- First-year students Nora Fitzgerald and Carissa Muller as well as junior Rosalie Martin rounded out the Skyhawks runners-up in the limit flat and fences, respectively.
- First-year student Maddy Clark capped off the Skyhawks' top three finishers on the day in the pre-novice division.
- Senior Emma Worster rounded out the Stonehill riders, finishing sixth overall in both the open flat and fences events.
