WALTHAM, Mass. (October 19, 2025) – The Stonehill College Equestrian Team kicked off its 2025-26 season Sunday at the Brandeis Show in Waltham, Massachusetts, earning a second-place, Reserve High Point finish as a team.
First-year student
Cora Cotman made an impressive collegiate debut, taking first place in open fences and finishing fourth in open flats.
In the intermediate division, junior
Lauren Eager and sophomore
Elizabeth Carreiro each earned podium finishes in flat classes, with Carreiro also placing fourth in intermediate fences. First-year student
Piper Olenn matched that fourth-place finish in her collegiate debut over intermediate fences.
Senior
Rosalie Martin consistently performed in the limit division, finishing in the top three in both fences and flat classes. Sophomores
Shay Callanan and
Nora Fitzgerald also earned podium spots in limit flats and fences, respectively.
Rounding out the Skyhawks' riders, first-year
Alyssa Douglas placed second in the novice division, while
Maddie Miller competed in the introductory division.
