EASTON, Mass. (October 6, 2026) – The Stonehill College men's hockey team received seven votes in the latest USCHO.com Division I Men's Ice Hockey Poll, as announced Monday afternoon.

The seven votes mark the first time the Skyhawks have received votes in the USCHO.com Division I poll during the program's NCAA Division I era and the third time overall that a Stonehill hockey program has received votes. The Stonehill women's hockey team previously received votes at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season after capturing the NEWHA Championship, as well as in the preseason poll ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Stonehill opened the 2026-27 season with an exhibition against No. 9 Providence on Friday, October 1, with the two sides skating to a 3-3 tie before the Friars prevailed, 1-0, in a shootout.

The Skyhawks open their regular season slate this weekend, hosting Colgate at Warrior Ice Arena on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.
