EASTON, Mass. (July 28,2026) – The Stonehill College men's hockey program, under the leadership of third-year head coach David Berard, has announced its 34-game schedule for the 2026-27 season.

The Skyhawks' slate features a Division I-era record 17 home games, all of which will be played at Warrior Ice Arena. Stonehill will also face at least one opponent from each of the six NCAA Division I hockey conferences — ECAC, Atlantic Hockey America, Hockey East, the NCHC, the Big Ten, and the CCHA — marking the first time in program history the Skyhawks will compete against teams from every Division I conference in a single season.

Stonehill opens the year with a preseason exhibition against Providence College on October 2 at Schneider Arena before officially beginning the regular season with a two-game home series against Colgate on October 9-10. The Skyhawks then travel to Marquette, Michigan, for a pair of contests against Northern Michigan on October 16-17 before making the short trip to Amherst to face UMass on October 24.

The matchup with the Minutemen kicks off a stretch that sees Stonehill play nine consecutive games at Warrior Ice Arena. The homestand begins with a two-game series against Princeton on October 30-31 before the Skyhawks welcome Alaska Fairbanks on November 6-7. Stonehill then hosts Northeastern on November 19-20, marking the first meeting between the two programs at Warrior Ice Arena, before closing Thanksgiving Weekend with a two-game series against Miami on November 27-28. The nine-game homestand concludes with a single contest against Yale on December 5.

Stonehill closes the first half of the season with three road games against ECAC opponents, visiting Brown on December 6, Dartmouth on December 10, and Quinnipiac on December 12 before entering a 19-day holiday break.

The Skyhawks ring in the new year with a trip to South Bend, Indiana, for a two-game series against Notre Dame on January 1-2 before taking on Boston College at Conte Forum on January 8.
Stonehill then enters the final stretch of the regular season, with 10 of its final 11 contests coming against fellow NCAA Division I Independent programs. The lone exception is a matchup with Bentley on January 21, sandwiched between home series against Lindenwood (January 15-16) and Alaska Anchorage (January 29-30). After traveling to Lindenwood for a two-game series on February 5-6, the Skyhawks conclude the regular season with a four-game series against rival LIU, hosting the Sharks on February 12-13 before traveling to Long Island for the regular-season finale on February 19-20.

Postseason play begins on March 4 at Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri, where Stonehill will compete in the second United Collegiate Hockey Cup. The five-team tournament features all five NCAA Division I Independent programs: Alaska Anchorage, Alaska Fairbanks, LIU, Lindenwood, and Stonehill. Alaska Fairbanks captured the inaugural United Collegiate Hockey Cup championship during the tournament's debut in 2026.
