Box Score SYRACUSE, N.Y. (March 14, 2026) – The Stonehill women's lacrosse team opened its conference play at Le Moyne, falling by a score of 11-9 in an NEC contest at Ted Grant Field Saturday morning.
The Skyhawks slip to 3-6 overall (0-1 NEC), while the Dolphins move to 6-2 (1-0 NEC).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Skyhawks jumped out to a 4-0 lead, as
Sophia Gouveia opened the scoring at 12:43, followed by a goal by
Taylor Green with 11:07 remaining to make it 2-0. Green scored again on a backhand shot at the 7:20 mark, and
Natalie Coutu converted a free-position attempt with 4:21 to play to make it 4-0.
With Stonehill leading 4-1 entering the second quarter, Le Moyne cut the deficit to 4-2, but Coutu answered with another free-position goal to give the Skyhawks a 5-2 edge at 12:11. After the Dolphins got within one, 5-4,
Grace Murphy found the back of the net with 5:47 to play, 6-4, and then
Jennaveve Koch tallied a player-up goal with 4:06 to go, giving Stonehill a 7-4 advantage. Murphy capped the scoring in the first half at the 2:21 mark, as the Skyhawks carried a 8-5 lead into the break.
In the third, Le Moyne came back to the tie the game, 8-8, and the contest remained with the same score until 13:02 in the fourth when the Dolphins went on top, 9-8. With 2:42 remaining, Murphy knotted the game, 9-9, but Le Moyne quickly answered with another goal to go back in front, 10-9.
