Box Score DAVIS, Calif. (March 7, 2026) – The Stonehill women's lacrosse team dropped a road game to UC Davis by a score of 19-7 at UC Davis Health Stadium Saturday afternoon.
The loss moves Stonehill to 3-4 overall (0-0 NEC), while the Aggies go to 4-4 (0-0 Big 12) on the year.
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS:
- Sophia Gouveia scored three goals for her fourth hat trick of the season. Gouevia also added eight draw controls to tie her career and season-high.
- Grace Murphy netted two goals for the Skyhawks.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
In the first,
Grace Murphy tied the game, 2-2, when she found the back of the net with 6:17 remaining in the opening period, but the Aggies, led, 4-2, through the first 15 minutes of play.
Meaghan Fealy scored a goal for Stonehill in the second quarter, but the Skyhawks trailed, 9-3, heading into halftime.
Jennaveve Koch converted a free-position attempt for a goal early in the second, and
Sophia Gouveia followed with her second score of the day to pull the Skyhawks back within, 10-5, at the 11:00 mark.
Gouveia and Murphy scored again in the fourth quarter, but UC Davis continued to pull away.

Stonehill (3-4, 0-0 NEC) will remain on the west coast to take on California (3-5, 1-3 ACC) on Monday, March 9 at 6 p.m. EST.
