WORCESTER, Mass (April 18, 2026) – The Stonehill men's track and field team saw multiple personal-bests come down at Holy Cross' Jim Kavanaugh Legacy Invitational on Saturday afternoon.  
 
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS

• Junior Brendan Wilder podiumed in the 5000 meters with a personal-best time of 15:29.92.
• Junior Brody McGrail placed second in the 100 meter with a time of 10.97.
• Sophomore Kauan Bento placed third in the 100 meters, clocking a time of 11.07.
• Sophomore Miles Burr and junior Jack Dougherty finished second and third in the 200 meters with times of 21.98 and 21.99, respectively.
• Freshman Benjamin Tavares clocked a personal-best time in the 400 meters.
• Junior Connor Magill recorded a personal-best time of 1:56.47 in the 800-meter.
• Junior Ean Hynes won the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 14.63, just .29 seconds head of junior Will Tinkham, who placed second.
• Freshman Brian Stevens posted a personal-best time of 11.74 in the 100 meter, while placed second in the 400 hurdles with a time of 57.03.
• Sophomore Ethan Fadden finished second in the steeplechase with a personal-best time of 6:20.71.
• Sophomore Shane Stanghellini (6:21.83), sophomore Jaxson Merrill (6:36.95) and junior Nicholas Bianchi (6:42.30) all recorded personal-bests in the steeplechase.
• The Stonehill 4x400 relay squad placed second with a time of 3:25.68.
• Junior Drew Pierson won the high jump with a personal-best mark of 1.97m.
• Junior Joseph Chesney won the discus with a mark of 44.87m.
• Freshman James Scott posted a personal-best mark of 53.34m in the javelin.
