EASTON, Mass. (May 8, 2026) – The Stonehill men's track and field team opened the first day of the NEICAAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a pair of outstanding distance performances on Friday afternoon.
 
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS

• Junior Ryan Pereira finished second in the 5000 meter with a qualifying standard time of 14:55.72.
• Junior Dylan Brilliant placed second in the 10000 meter clocking a qualifying standard time of 31:18.72, just seven tenths off first place.
• Junior Ian Bubar also placed in the top-10 of the 5000 meter with a time of 15:18.61.
• Freshman James Scott placed third in the javelin posting a personal-best mark of 55.29m.
• Freshman Ayden Gleeson finished fifth in the hammer throw with a distance of 55.76m.
• Freshman Daniel Velez recorded a mark of 4.10m in the pole vault.
