EASTON, Mass. – The 2025-2026 Senior Reflections is a series of annual collections. Senior representatives of teams at Stonehill have been invited to contribute and reflect on their personal experiences over their four-year careers at Stonehill - both on and off the playing surface.

Why Stonehill?
When I first looked into Stonehill, I was looking for a place where I did not have to choose between a rigorous academic environment and high-level athletics. Transitioning from Division 3 to Division 1 athletics has challenged me in a number of ways and allowed me to become the best version of myself.
How has Stonehill shaped you as a person?
In my time at Stonehill, I learned how the demands of being not only a student but also an athlete have improved my time management skills. Whether it was grinding through complex assignments or waking up early morning team lifts, the College environment taught me that success isn't a single moment of excellence, but the consistency of showing up and doing the work every day.
When I first stepped onto campus, I was unsure of what I could accomplish. I didn't know if I had what it took to succeed as a Division I athlete or if I'd be prepared for a career after graduation. However, my time here has proven otherwise, ranging from retiring future first-round MLB draft picks on the mound to gaining professional experience at a world-leading financial institution. These opportunities have transformed my perspective, giving me unwavering confidence in my ability to compete and succeed in any environment.
Best Moments …
One of my best moments as an athlete at Stonehill was being a part of the 2025 team that qualified for the NEC tournament for the first time in program history. Being a part of a team that came together to win consistently throughout the season was special to be a part of. Academically, a defining moment was the synergy between my internship at Morgan Stanley in wealth management and the corresponding research paper I authored on monetary policy. It was a unique experience to be able to combine the theories I learned in the classroom with the real-world finance industry. Analyzing policy while working at a global firm bridged the gap between student and professional, proving that Stonehill had prepared me for the highest levels of the industry.
Lessons Learned …
The most important lesson I've learned is that no matter the pressure, I can find a way to deliver. Whether I am facing the heart of an ACC lineup, or writing a 30-page capstone paper, when pressure and expectations are high, I can find a way to succeed.
I am graduating with a unique toolkit that combines analytical rigor with athletic resilience and teamwork. My time at Stonehill has taught me that the discipline required to be successful on the field is the same discipline required to be successful in the classroom and office.
