EASTON, Mass. (Sept. 22, 2026) – Freshman Teagan O'Donnell of the Stonehill field hockey team has been selected as the NEC Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced. 

O'Donnell and senior Julieta D'Antonio were also tabbed NEC Prime Performers.

A native of Bedford, N.H., O'Donnell scored twice in Stonehill's 4-1 victory over Merrimack in the NEC opener Sept. 18. O'Donnell also finished with four shots in the contest.

D'Antonio, who is tied for the team lead with O'Donnell with two goals this fall, finished the week with two tallies, one assist and two defensive saves. D'Antonio, who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay, scored on a penalty stroke against Merrimack, while also assisting on a goal and recording two defensive saves in the victory. D'Antonio then added another goal at UMass Lowell Sept. 20.

Stonehill (1-5, 1-0 NEC) will host Sacred Heart (1-6, 0-1 NEC) Friday, Sept. 25 at 3 p.m.
