Skyhawks sweep Yellow Jackets 9-0

Springfield, Mass. - In their second match in
as many days the Stonehill women's tennis team won their seventh
straight match on Saturday, this one a 9-0 victory over AIC.
The Skyhawks were helped by forfeits at No. 6 singles and No. 3
doubles, though it would have made little difference as Stonehill
rolled in each of the matches played.
Every match was won in straight sets, with Leah
White (East Walpole, Mass.), Emily
Broderick (Middlebury, Conn.) and Bacall
Brooks (Kittery Point, Maine) all winning their matches
6-0, 6-0. The Skyhawks also swept both doubles with 8-0
victories.
Stonehill improves to 10-2 overall and a perfect 5-0 in NE-10
play and take that record into their home match against Pace Sunday
at 1:00 p.m.
