Greyhounds No Match For Skyhawks
Easton, Mass. - The Skyhawks
ran their winning streak to ten games as they took care of business
against Assumption on Wednesday afternoon taking down the
Greyhounds 9-0 in Worcester.
Stonehill cruised in the early going, sweeping all three doubles
matches, 8-1, 8-3 and 8-2.
In singles play the Skyhawks were equally dominant getting a
6-0, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles from Lindsey Herchel
(Hampden, Mass.) and at No. 2 singles from Amy
Toegemann (Narragansett, R.I.).
Also winning their singles matches were Leah
White (East Walpole, Mass.), Caitlin Ryan
(Medfield, Mass.), Sarah Hickey (Lee, Mass. ) and
Emily Broderick (Middlebury, Conn.).
Stonehill returns to action on Friday when they play host to
Merrimack at 3:00 p.m.
