Reilly to be Inducted into Rhode Island College Athletic Hall of Fame

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (Oct. 9, 2025) -- Stonehill women's basketball associate head coach Marcus Reilly will be inducted into the Rhode Island College Athletic Hall of Fame on Oct. 18, the school recently announced. The ceremony will take place in The Murray Center at Rhode Island College on Saturday, Oct. 18 (10 a.m.)

Reilly will be inducted along with the 2011-12 Rhode Island College women's basketball team, as Reilly served as the head coach of that squad. The 2011-12 Anchorwomen posted a 25-4 overall record and went 13-1 in the Little East Conference. The 25 victories established a new school record, and the team won its first Little East Conference regular-season title, as well as the Little East Conference tournament. By winning the conference tournament, Rhode Island College clinched the program's first Division III NCAA tournament appearance since 1985. The Anchorwomen reached the second round of the NCAA tournament that season.

Following the 2011-12 campaign, Reilly was honored as the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Coach of the Year. Reilly served as head coach at Rhode Island College from 2008-12, and he is entering his third year at Stonehill.
