EASTON, Mass. (June 10, 2025) – Junior designated hitter
Aidan Cohall of the Stonehill College baseball team has been named to the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings All-Northeast Region Second Team, as announced by the American Baseball Coaches Association on Tuesday afternoon.
An All-NEC First Team honoree, Cohall becomes the first player in Stonehill's Division I era to earn a spot on an ABCA/Rawlings All-Region Team. He is also one of just two Northeast Conference (NEC) student-athletes named to this year's All-Region squads, joining NEC Player of the Year Aidan Redahan of Central Connecticut State, who was also selected to the Second Team.
This recognition marks Stonehill's first All-Region selection since
Blaine Lidsky '24 was named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II East All-Region Second Team following the 2022 season.
Cohall delivered a breakout season at the plate, posting a .365 batting average, .702 slugging percentage, and 1.132 OPS. He tallied 60 RBI, 19 doubles, and 14 home runs—ranking among the NEC's top three in each category. He was especially dominant during the final stretch of the regular season, notching 13 multi-hit performances over the last 17 games. During that span, Cohall batted .472 with 10 doubles, six home runs, and 37 RBI.
Stonehill concluded its 2025 campaign with a historic run, earning its first-ever berth in the NEC Postseason Tournament. The Skyhawks finished the year 20–32 overall and 18–12 in conference play, reaching the 20-win mark for the first time at the Division I level. The team also established itself as one of the nation's top power-hitting programs, leading the NEC with 80 home runs—ranking 38th nationally.
