Kelter and Kogan Earn CSC Academic All-District® At-Large Honors

EASTON, Mass. (June 25, 2025) – Senior Emersyn Kelter and junior Julia Kogan of the Stonehill College women's lacrosse program have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Team, as announced by the organization.

The CSC Academic All-District® At-Large program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined achievements in athletic competition and academic excellence. Honorees are selected across four divisions — NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA — with consideration for sports not sponsored by specific CSC Academic All-America® teams.

Kogan earns her first career Academic All-District® selection following a standout junior campaign on the field and in the classroom. A Second Team All-NEC performer, the neuroscience major compiled a team-best 3.97 cumulative GPA, while dominating in the draw circle with 95 draw controls, second-most in the NEC. She recorded three double-digit draw control games, including a career-high 12 draws, along with four ground balls and two caused turnovers in a win over Sacred Heart. Kogan also netted the first two goals of her collegiate career this spring, scoring against Central Connecticut (March 26) and Le Moyne (April 19).

Kelter also earns her first CSC Academic All-District® honor after helping anchor a Stonehill defense that ranked among the top three in the NEC in ground balls (316), caused turnovers (121), and successful clears (279-of-315). The biochemistry major and Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society inductee posted a 3.84 cumulative GPA, while setting a personal best with 25 ground balls, including a pair of four-ground ball performances against Sacred Heart and LIU.

Stonehill capped a historic 2025 campaign with an 11-7 overall record and an 8-1 mark in NEC play, earning a share of the NEC Regular Season title. The Skyhawks led the conference in several offensive categories, including goals (230), goals per game (12.78), points (316), points per game (17.56), shot percentage (.457), and shots on goal (381), before finishing as runner-up in the NEC Championship.

About College Sports Communicators
College Sports Communicators (CSC) was founded in 1957 and is a 3,200+ member national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The current name of the organization was adopted following a member-wide vote on Aug. 31, 2022.

From its founding in 1957 until the 2022 name change, the organization was known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The name change signaled a significant step in a broader strategic plan to highlight the association's evolution and growth. The move better aligns with the association's membership makeup and further positions the organization to support and advocate for its members who serve in the communications, digital, and creative sports industry, regardless of position or title.

The organization, which celebrated its 65th anniversary during the 2021-22 academic year, is the second-oldest management association in all intercollegiate athletics. College Sports Communicators became an affiliated partner with NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics) in December 2008.
