Men's Soccer to Recognize Hall of Fame Alum Andy McMahon '92 Before Bryant Match

EASTON, Mass. – Before their match against Bryant, the Stonehill men's soccer program will welcome back legendary alumni Andy McMahon '92 on Saturday, September 20.

McMahon was most recently recognized by the NE-10 in June when he was inducted into the NE-10 Hall of Fame as member of the Class of 2025.

A stand-out athlete during his days at Stonehill, McMahon was the program's first All-American, earning the honors in 1990. That fall Stonehill was having one of their best seasons and McMahon was a big part of that. His dominance on the pitch that fall led him to be named the NE-10 Player of the Year, while guiding Stonehill to their first of back-to-back NE-10 championships (1990, 1991) over rival Bentley.

McMahon completed his career at Stonehill as a two-time NE-10 All-Conference selection and All-New England selection. At the time of his graduation, he was fourth amongst Stonehill's all-time scoring records tallying 17 goals and 43 assists for 77 points.

In 1999, McMahon's contributions were acknowledged when he was inducted into the Stonehill Hall of Fame. Additionally, the 1990 NE-10 championship team, that finished the year with a 13-5-2 overall record and 7-1-1 mark in conference play, was inducted into the Stonehill Hall of Fame in 2015.
