STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Feb. 16, 2026) – Entering the second day of the 2026 NEC Indoor Track & Field Championships in fourth place, the Stonehill men's track and field team climbed two spots to finish second with a total of 104 points.
STONEHILL HIGHLIGHTS
- Junior Nicholas Davies anchored the Skyhawks Distance Medley Relay and helped Stonehill capture the event title for the first time.
- The Skyhawks quarter of Davies, Brendan Wilder, Brian Stevens and Colin Keane came one second shy of breaking the NEC record with a time of 10:05.98.
- Freshmen Owen Partridge and Benjamin Tavares both posted podium finishes in the 500-meter dash with times of 1:04.51 and 1:04.82, respectively.
- Junior Dylan Brilliant finished second to earn the silver medal in the 5000-meter with a time of 14:31.41.
- Freshman Daniel Veliz earned bronze in the pole vault with a mark of 4.50m.
- Junior Brendan Wilder finished third in the mile with a time of 4:12.63 to earn bronze.
- Junior Jack Dougherty finished fourth in the 400-meter dash clocking a time of 49.27.
