EASTON, Mass. (April 15, 2026) – Senior forward
Maddi Achtyl of the Stonehill College women's hockey team has signed with Linköping HC of the SDHL, a top-tier women's professional ice hockey league in Sweden.

Achtyl, who served as an assistant captain during the 2025-26 campaign, leaves Stonehill as the program's all-time leading scorer. Over 143 career games, she totaled 83 points on 53 goals and 30 assists, including 11 power-play goals and 11 game-winning tallies.
A native of Lancaster, New York, Achtyl put together a career-best season as a senior, recording 26 points on 18 goals and eight assists. She earned NEWHA Player of the Week honors twice and was named to the NEWHA Second Team following her standout campaign.
Achtyl joins a Linköping HC squad that finished ninth in the SDHL standings during the 2025-26 season, totaling 30 points on the year.
