EASTON, Mass. (April 15, 2026) – Senior forward Lily Geist of the Stonehill College women's hockey team has signed a professional contract with Lakers Kärnten of the European Women's Hockey League (EWHL).

"We're so excited that Geisty is furthering her hockey career with the Lakers Kärnten," said head coach Lee-J Mirasolo. "I'm so lucky to have had a front row seat to her growth as a player and person over the last three years and she will be an asset to her next team just as she was as a Skyhawk. We look forward to following Geisty along as she embarks on her next chapter."

Geist, a member of the program's inaugural recruiting class, leaves Stonehill as the program record holder with 440 shots on goal. Over the course of her 151-game collegiate career, she totaled 66 points on 33 goals and 33 assists.

A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, Geist appeared in every game throughout her four-year careers in the Purple and White. During the 2025-26 campaign, she recorded a single-season career-high 14 assists, highlighted by a pair of multi-assist performances against LIU (Nov. 1) and Franklin Pierce (Nov. 14).

Geist joins a Lakers Kärnten squad that finished 10th in the EWHL standings during the 2025-26 season with 62 points.
