EASTON, Mass. (June 17, 2026) – The New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) recognized 174 student-athletes from its eight member institutions on Wednesday with selection to the 2025-26 All-Academic Team. The Stonehill College women's hockey program placed 19 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team and concluded the spring semester with a 3.54 team grade-point average.
Four Skyhawks also earned NEWHA Student-Athlete of the Year honors after maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade-point average throughout the 2025-26 academic year. Seniors
Bailey Feeney, Mia Kenmore, Hannah Squires, and
Brianna Walkom each received the distinction.
Additionally, seven members of the program were named to the NEWHA All-Academic Team for the fourth consecutive year, including Feeney, Kenmore, Squires, Walkom,
Eve Stone, Lily Barrett, and
Lucie Turcotte.
To qualify for the NEWHA All-Academic Team, student-athletes must achieve at least a 3.0 grade-point average during both the fall and spring semesters. The NEWHA Student-Athlete of the Year award is presented to the student-athlete(s) who record the highest cumulative grade-point average in the conference.
Across the league, Sacred Heart University led all programs with 28 All-Academic Team selections, followed by Long Island University and Franklin Pierce University with 24 apiece. Post University recorded 23 selections, while Assumption University had 20. Stonehill and Saint Michael's College each placed 19 student-athletes on the team, while Saint Anselm College rounded out the conference with 17 selections.
