EASTON, Mass. (June 29, 2026) – Recent graduates
Connor Androlewicz and
Evan Orr, along with rising juniors
Zachary Aben and
Justin Gibson, have been named 2026 AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholars, as announced by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) on Monday afternoon.
To qualify for the annual honor, student-athletes must earn a 3.75 grade-point average in each semester while appearing in at least 40 percent of their team's games. Exceptions are made for players who do not meet the participation requirement due to injury or serving as a backup goaltender. Institutions must also be members of the AHCA.
Androlewicz, who served as a member of the Skyhawks' leadership group during the 2025-26 campaign, appeared in 29 games between the pipes, posting a 7-19-3 record to go along with a .897 save percentage and 3.24 goals-against average. The St. Louis, Missouri, native recorded one shutout at the inaugural United Collegiate Hockey Cup against Alaska Anchorage and delivered standout performances against UConn and St. Lawrence, helping Stonehill earn a pair of shootout victories.
Aben, an assistant captain during his sophomore campaign, was limited to eight games due to injury but totaled two assists, recording points against Penn State on October 25 and at Princeton on November 15. Off the ice, the Harvey's Lake, Pennsylvania, native was selected to The Team's Engaged Athlete Fellowship and organized a youth field day clinic for the local community for the second consecutive year, continuing an initiative started by former Skyhawk
Cam Mannion '25.
Gibson enjoyed a breakout sophomore season, appearing in 30 games while establishing career highs with three goals, five assists and eight points. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native scored his first collegiate game-winning goal against St. Lawrence on January 2 and recorded his first career multi-point performance with a pair of assists against fellow NCAA Division I Independent foe LIU on February 20.
Orr, the 2025-26 NCAA Division I Independent Co-Defensive Player of the Year and an All-Star selection, served as one of Stonehill's two team captains during his final season in Easton. The Shelby Township, Michigan, native skated in 35 games, totaling 18 points on five goals and 13 assists while leading the team with 49 blocked shots. He also set the program's NCAA Division I-era single-season record with 100 shots on goal and finished the year with four multi-point performances.
