Women’s Tennis Earns ITA All-Academic Team Honors; Five Named ITA Scholar-Athletes

EASTON, Mass. (July 20, 2026) – The Stonehill College women's tennis program has been recognized as one of 231 programs nationwide to earn the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Additionally, five Skyhawks were named ITA Scholar-Athletes in recognition of their academic excellence.

Stonehill posted a 3.64 team grade-point average to receive ITA All-Academic Team honors for the eighth time in program history. The recognition marks the program's seventh selection in the past eight years and its third since transitioning to NCAA Division I. The Skyhawks were also one of four NEC institutions to earn the distinction.

Stonehill's five ITA Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year are: Holte, Beltran, Rodriguez, and Warren each collected ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for the third consecutive season, while Chabria earned the recognition for the second time in her collegiate career.

The ITA Scholar-Athlete honor is awarded to student-athletes who achieve a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher during the academic year. A total of 1,501 NCAA Division I women's tennis student-athletes earned the distinction in 2025-26.
