Stonehill Men Extend Unbeaten Streak To Nine

- The Skyhawks remain undefeated in NE-10 play
after beating St. Anselm 8-1 on Sunday afternoon to extend their
winning streak to nine games and improve to 14-3 on the
season.
Stonehill made quick work of doubles play, winning 8-0, 8-0 and
8-4.
The Skyhawks also played well in singles, as No. 1 singles
Tim Fayed (Glastonbury, Conn.) improved to 16-1
with his straight set 6-1, 6-1 win. Junior Mike
Mashkevich (Framingham, Mass.) also hit the ball well,
winning 6-0, 6-1. In addition to No. 1 and 2 Stonehill also got
wins at No. 3,4 and 5 singles.
The Skyhawks return to action on Tuesday when they travel to
Franklin Pierce to take on the Ravens at 3:00 p.m.
